A pre-Christmas craft and design market in the Markterei, the market hall in the former Wasserbaulabor on Severingasse in Alsergrund. Makers fill the hall with handmade soaps and candles, lovingly made ceramics, pewter figures, one-off jewellery and accessories, so it is a good place to find a Christmas present that did not come off a shelf, or simply to browse with a drink from the hall's regular food producers. Held on two Friday-and-Saturday weekends in December during the hall's opening hours (Friday from 16:00 until 22:00, Saturday 10:00 to 16:00).
